Emily Oberg, the founder of the California-based brand Sporty & Rich, has recently unveiled an exceptional collaboration in the world of sportswear. Based between Paris and Los Angeles, Oberg is a true visionary and a « jack-of-all-trades » in fashion. An entrepreneur, exhibition curator, and artistic director of her own label since 2015, she also pioneered the first women’s line for Kith, a popular New York streetwear brand that has successfully expanded to Paris.
In 2015, Emily Oberg moved to New York to work at Complex Magazine. It was there that she began shaping the universe and identity of Sporty & Rich, a brand of vintage sportswear inspired by luxury sportswear. What started as an Instagram mood board evolved into a magazine and then into a full-fledged clothing brand.
Emily Oberg’s latest collaboration with adidas is not her first. She has previously worked with the brand as well as with Bristol, the venue chosen for the presentation of this new collection.
