Davy Sihali, founder and owner of the « ShowHeart » event, launched a networking evening in 2019 dedicated to film industry professionals, which has grown steadily in scale. Passionate about event planning since 2005, he initially organized informal gatherings for cinephiles and professionals before professionalizing his events and creating ShowHeart. In collaboration with Farah Ordish, an expert in audiovisual production, Davy later expanded the event to Paris, bringing a fresh dynamic to the city’s cinematic networking scene.

ShowHeart quickly gained recognition for its glamorous ambiance and prestigious guests. Iconic figures in cinema, such as Albert Pinto, director of La Casa de Papel, and Luka Peros, an actor from this cult series, were among the attendees. Alongside these stars, directors, casting agents, and writers came to share their projects and forge new collaborations.
The event was hosted in prestigious venues, including The Barcelona Edition Hotel and the Marquise Hotel in Paris. The latter, located in the 8th arrondissement, provided an ideal setting, blending Parisian elegance with valuable networking opportunities.
Memorable Encounters and Celebrated Talents
ShowHeart offered an immersive experience featuring exclusive presentations of cinematic projects, speed networking sessions, and moments of relaxation, drawing industry professionals. Guests had the opportunity to discover works by renowned filmmakers and actors, such as Zar Amir Ebrahimi, who won an award at Cannes for her role in Holy Spider (2022), and Elham Erfani, screenwriter and director of Tatami (2023). The event also spotlighted filmmakers of works featured on leading platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime.
The venue also attracted talents from cinema and other artistic disciplines. Notable attendees included Julien Seri, director of Kali (2024), and Quarxx, artist and director of Pandemonium (2023), who captivated the audience with their unique visual styles. The evening also showcased personalities from action and thriller cinema, such as Sébastien Drouin, who impressed with Cold Meat (2023), an intense survival film.

A Springboard for New Collaborations
ShowHeart has established itself as a must-attend event for film industry professionals. With each edition, the audience grew more diverse, bringing together producers, actors, directors, and content creators united by a shared passion. The event’s success has cemented ShowHeart as the leading networking event of its scale for the cinema industry.
In 2025, ShowHeart aims to once again bring together top industry names for fruitful exchanges and promising partnerships. The organizers aspire to make each edition a landmark event in the cinematic calendar—a place where projects are born, and new opportunities emerge in a festive and inspiring atmosphere.
