Venturing into the realm of fragrance, the high-end ready-to-wear brand unveils its very first scent. A concoction conceived in collaboration with the renowned French perfumery house, Frédéric Malle.
For its inaugural fragrance since its establishment in Stockholm in 1996, the Swedish fashion label has leveraged the expertise of Editions de Parfum Frédéric Malle.

Frédéric Malle and Jonny Johansson, founder and creative director of Acne Studios, crossed paths at Café de Flore in Paris. Driven by mutual admiration, the two gentlemen entrusted Suzy Le Helley, a budding perfumer trained at Symrise under the guidance of Annick Ménardo and Maurice Roucel, with the task of crafting a fragrance that marries the boldness and classicism of the brand, drawing inspiration from elements rooted in Swedish culture.
« On a personal note, this marks my maiden solo endeavor, and I applaud Frédéric’s audacity and trust in entrusting such a project to a young creator. I hope this perfume resonates with a new generation less acquainted with the grand classics and is curious to explore a grand floral aldehyde, seen through a fresh prism, with a new perspective, » Suzy Le Helley explains.
Abundant in aldehydes, the perfume conjures imagery of freshly laundered linen, with floral notes of rose, violet, and orange blossom. Vanilla and peach define the heart, while the base comprises sandalwood, incense, and musk.
« Frédéric Malle adeptly merges the classic with the avant-garde. For him, creativity always takes precedence. Nothing is dictated by marketing, simply by the desire to create beautiful things, » Johansson underscores regarding this collaboration.
