CALZEDONIA OPENED THE PARIS FASHION WEEK BALL

After Milan, Fashion Week shifted its focus to Paris, and Calzedonia opened the dances by putting the spotlight on its tights and muses. In the most romantic and fashionable city in the world, the stars lit up the red carpet with precious looks, the highlight of which are precisely the tights. Conquering Paris at the start of Fashion Week, the brand proposed a show packed with guests topped off with an unprecedented experience. Entitled Calzedonia — A Legs Celebration, it was a unique experience that enlivened the Parisian atmosphere.

Palais Brongniart is the neoclassical location chosen by the hosiery brand to host the performances and original installations of CALZEDONIA. Behind the grandiose façade of the Palais, a giant reproduction of the entrance door of a boutique gave access to the brand’s universe: plays of light and mirrors, performances by over 60 artists offered a vibrant spectacle. The red carpet was packed with international influencers and celebrities such as Sara Sampaio, Chiara Ferragni, Leonie Hanne, Rossy de Palma, Laetitia Casta, Jasmine Tooks, Pamela Reif, Tina Kunakey, Sara Carbonero, Elisabetta Canalis and many others

The brand of the Venetian group of the same name therefore organised for the first time a special event in Paris, on last 26 September, the first day of the fashion week dedicated to women’s clothing.

An immersive experience in the brand’s universe and to celebrate its iconic garment, the tights, a symbol of Parisian style since the 1940s.

The Italian brand gave Paris Fashion Week a strong boost by conquering the city with its tights and muses

To inaugurate September’s most glamorous Parisian week, Calzedonia put on a luminous and extremely sensual show, transforming the city into its stage and with a precious audience. The Verona-based brand has made tights its style symbol par excellence. Today it is an accessory that accompanies and defines the look, even more so at Calzedonia, and over the years it has also evolved on the technical side, following trends and developments (lace, mesh, patterns).

And this year, with the roaring return of miniskirts also on the catwalk, the use of tights is increasingly in demand. Calzedonia aims above all at colour, has reinterpreted time and has chosen the setting of Palais Brongniart for its show. The experience put on by the Italian brand involved all the rooms with original performances and installations. There was no shortage of guests such as Shay Mitchell, sporting micro polka dots, or Gaia’s geometric pattern and Cindy Bruna’s Parisian girls.

Each of the stars present sported an iconic Calzedonia garment, starting from classic tights with a new eco-friendly look to more aggressive ones with animal prints and polka dots. Space was also given to coloured and fishnet tights. Chiara Ferragni shone on the red carpet with her look in a see-through style and the brand’s floral weave tights. Leonie Hanne chose polka dot fishnet stockings to match her total black look. For Demet Özdemir, the blazer dress is accompanied by fine, elegant polka dot stockings, while Elisabetta Canalis opts strictly for fishnet tights.
